Specialty beans priced according to market.* |
We are currently licensed under a Class A California Cottage Food Operation license (DEH2018-FCFO-000595). This grants us permission to sell direct only. So, you'll just have to find us at a local farmers market or in person (seriously...if you see Daniel, just ask him what's in stock and for sale.) Everything is roasted to order once a week typically on Saturdays (roasted on an Arc800). * Specialty beans are things like Panama Geisha and coffee from Yemen...hard to get and expensive stuff. |
Blends
Because coffee is a seasonal crop, blending offers a way to not only create new flavor profiles, but like blended whiskys, maintain some amount of consistency crop to crop.
Trunch
Trunch is a blend of 4 origins which be believe creates the perfect Espresso. There's a deep chocolate backdrop with hints of baking spices and a small fruit "pop" on the finish to keep it from being too heavy. Pair it with milk or drink it straight.
GuatZilla
GuatZilla is a caramel forward blend of Brazil and Guatemala. This blend is medium bodied with balanced sweetness and acidity. It works equally well as espresso or a pour over.
50/50
Our 50/50 blend is a mix of Honduras and Costa Rica coffees one roasted dark, the other light. This blend was created for use in cold brew where it exhibits deep chocolate tones with a nice fruity snap that makes it super refreshing over ice.
Single Origins
Coffee is a seasonal crop. As such, our single origin offerings change constantly. This is what we are roasting currently.
NEW Rwanda
Rwanda Gasharu Natural is a wonderful coffee we recently came across. We put a solid medium roast on it which keeps the sweetness and give a nice balance of the rummy fruit and baking spice notes.
Guatemala
Our current Guatemala stock is a great every day drinking coffee that also works very well as a single origin espresso.
Brazil
If you just want "coffee", Brazil is pretty much the go-to. You may pick up a nutty profile with chocolate.
Costa Rica
Costa Rica consistently produces some of the best coffee in the region. The coffee is excellent and in addition to being a great single origin coffee, we love using this as a light roast component of blends.
Sumatra
This is a great example of the typical earthy robust flavor Sumatra is known for. I prefer it roasted just into the 2nd crack where everything balances out into a great cup of coffee.
